“Agentic AI” is one of those terms that seems to have just landed out of nowhere - and only about a year after “vibe-coding” became a thing. Agentic AI takes this to the next level.

Congratulations on joining AskEd's Advisory Council. What attracted you to the company and its vision?

Well honestly, I guess it started with a message coming my way, but rest assured there's loads that come my way and most don't get a follow up.

I spent several years working on sustainability in international education before co-founding AskEd. So, when institutions ask me about the environmental impact of AI, I do take the question seriously.

There is no shortage of interest in AI across higher education. Strategy documents reference it, conferences discuss it and senior leaders talk about transformation.

What is harder to find is evidence of it working at the point where it would make the most difference.
